T’jas has grown into a fine bronze rider, a good leader and a fair man..although he does have a bit of a temper which he works hard to keep under control. Times have changed him from a kind fatherly man towards more of a ‘hard’ person where needed!
He’s still a soft and passionate lover to those he decides to open his heart to, but since it’s been severly broken twice now, it will take him a while to get to that stage with anyone.. if he ever gets there again.
As a dragonrider T’jas is very traditional in his views, likes to go by the book, so to speak but is starting to come around to listening to life outside of the book.. and will make adjustments where possible. Despite the weyrleader being a brownrider, T’jas is very loyal to M’cleod and finds himself looking up to him..
Physical description:
Though T'jas and V'raj are only one turn apart, they only slightly
look related. T'jas stand's 6 foot even and weights 180lbs. A
shoulder length mane of chocolate brown hair with lighter brown
tones mixed in it. His eyes are a pretty, turquiose blue, set in his
oval shaped face. A nice looking boy, he has toned his body well
through turns of hard chores.
T'jas usually wears gray-blue or brown trousers, with a light
colored undershirt and leather vest. His boots are old, but well
taken care of and pitch black. Around his neck he wears a gold chain
with a small, oval shaped emerald on it. This charm reminds him of
his mother, who rode a green dragon.
History:
Tejas was born to Wingrider V'gano and Wingrider Trevina of Ista
Weyr, a turn before his brother Viraj. A strong boy, he quickly took
the role of defender when Viraj was born. Though he didn't see much
of his mother and father, he knew who they were and admired their
dragonrider status very much.
Tejas and Viraj were raised by the same foster mother, a woman named
Bujanla. They were her only children and she was content with her
two sons. She raised them well, caring for them without spoiling
them.
When Tejas was twelve, he began standing for clutches. A turn later,
Viraj joined him. For turns they did not Impress and then the
Illness set in. All around them, dragons began to die. Their riders
were either torn in half with madness or killed themself. V'gano and
Trevina were two the hundreds of riders who fell victim to the
horrible disease.
It was Tejas' determination that kept him and his brother together.
Eventually, the only rider from Ista left was L'rai and his bronze,
Galith. The only hope for Pern was eggs left from clutches both Ista
and Igen. Eggs from Igen were brought over and the two brothers kept
standing. Here it was that T’jas meet his bronze lifemate Hirazeth, as his brother found Revolith, his brown. The pair worked together into their weyrlinghood.. both determined to make their parents proud..
the turns passed and both dragon and rider grew into fine males, Hirazeth caught Idoreth on her maiden flight, making him weyrsecond and producing a fine clutch of eggs, and providing a strong relationship between Bennu and himself, unfortunately, not 7 months later t’jas was woken by idoreth going between, Bennu was never found..
When the weyrleaders were taken by Laral’s band, t’jas stepped up and took charge.. and was surprised by the appearance of another gold, Shayna, and her Josiath. But he welcomed them, knowing that with Taenia captured there was every chance they she wouldn’t survive and then Shayna’s help would be needed.. but the weyrleaders defied everyones thoughts and returned to the weyr..
When Authanth flew for her second flight it was T’jas’ dragon, Hirazeth that caught her in a spectacular flight, resulting in a fair sized clutch and a gold egg.. but things got too much for T’jas.. and his temper got the better of him, almost pulling the weyr apart. IT was L’rai that saved him, trained him and made him into the fine wingleader that he is today.. and who knows, maybe in the future when Authanth Flies again, T’jas can show the weyr the type of weyrleader he would be now..
It was during this time that he met L’rai’s younger sister Monier.. and opened his heart again to her, someone he loved.. again things turned pair-shaped with her death and T’jas didn’t even bother to try for leadership when Authanth rose again… as he came out of the darkness that Monier’s death had caused, T’jas now finds himself supporting the weyr in whatever pathway they need to take.. and trying hard to keep his temper in check, particularly where V’yel is concerned.. (he blames him for the death of Monier)

Bronze by colour and bronze by nature. Yep, Hirazath
was certainly made to be bronze, or perhaps even gold.
He seems to have gotten the personality which Authanth
should have had. Bossy, snappy, and somewhat mean to
people when he doesn’t get his own way. In fact, the
little bronze even thinks he’s what makes the world go
around. Hirazath is certainly going to be a
troublemaker, if is his rider isn’t strong enough to
control him. Don’t get him wrong, he’s not overly
mean, he’s just misunderstood, and somewhat of a gold
charmer, at least he tries to be.
Physical description-
A very handsome looking bronze to any gold or green,
and he knows it. He’s the average height for a bronze,
just very muscular. His hide is very typical bronze
coloured, ranging in the middle of gold and brown.
Though, some patches, such as under the wings, are
dark, and down his legs. The upper wing membranes are
bright and attractive.
