Previous Weeks
Week 35 (15.9-21.9) - Highs for this week at Izuko are averaging between 6-8C (or 42-46F), with lows not much lower. Mostly cloudy, with a day or two of light rain, fog, and drizzle. Slightly windy.
Week 36 (22.9-28.9) - Highs are staying around 6-8C (42-46F) for the first day or so. Then a warm front will bring the temperatures up to 10C (50F) as the tropics bring slightly heavier rain and more wind towards the end of the week. Otherwise, somewhat mild and sunny.
Week 37 (01.10-07.10) - Slightly cooler this week now that the rain has passed and windy weather follows, with highs back down to around 5-7C (41F-45F). Wind and clouds will clear up a day or two into the week, with sun the rest of the week. Mornings will be foggy.
Week 38 (08.10-14.10) - This week will be very similar to last week, with highs around 5-7C (41F-45F) and wind continuing to be present. It will be slightly windier, with gusts sometimes reaching hurricane strength, and coming from the north to bring a chill to the island. The fog will disappear, but be replaced by general cloudiness for most of the week.
Week 40 (22.10-28.10) - Frost and chill from the previous week will quickly dissipate as the northern gusts from a few weeks ago return and move the weather system out of the area. Midway through the week, it will become sunny and somewhat warm again, reaching up to 8C (46F) by the end of the week in a temporary warming spell.
Week 41 (01.11-07.11) - It will remain cool for the majority of the week, the so called warming spell from the week before lingering about with temperatures hovering in the mid-40s, (6-8C). The sun will stick around, though a northerly breeze will also buffet the island starting the second or third day of the week. Mornings will continue to be foggy, though the fog will disappear by the end of the week as another weather system moves in by the last day.
Week 42 (08.11-14.11) - The weather system that moved in at the end of the last week will dominate the majority of the week. The first inkling's of winter are finally upon the weyr. Sleet and freezing rain dominate during the cold night time hours and a cold unpleasant rain during the day. Temperatures are in the low 40s (4-6C). By the end of the week, the weather shows no sign of leaving.
Week 43 (15.11-21.11) - The weather system will stick around for another day or so before finally clearing out by mid-week. Sun will melt what ice took hold on the weyr and the island will have a heat-wave. If there's a time to get in a final swim, it's now. The warm spell will bring temperatures abnormally hot to mid-60s (16-18). This heat wave will only last a few days, though, so enjoy it while you can.
Week 44 (22.11-28.11) - The pleasant weather of the week before will quickly disappear back into the miserable weather that is normal for the Izuko Islands. Temperatures will gradually drop back down to the low-40s by the end of the week and the sunny skies will be replaced with cloud. By the end of the week, the mountains might have their first real snow fall.
Week 45 (01.12-07.12) - Temperatures will begin to hold steady in the low-40s to upper-30s (3-5C) and the days will vary between sunny and windy to cloudy and windy. Up in the Island's mountains, nighttime snowfall will become standard by the end of the week, while near the coast ice will slowly start to build up around the island. The mountains will see a heavy-snow fall towards the end of the week, with some snow in the lower-lying areas.
Current Weeks
Week 46 (08.12-14.12) - The first day or so will see the Island covered in a snow-storm from the snowy wastes. Temperatures will hover around freezing for those days and the Island will have a blanket of white. By the end of the week, the lower-lying areas will melt off, but a bitter cold wind will take it's place, with some final bouts of sleet and frozen rain, and perhaps a bit of hail. Temperatures will not get above 40 (4C) for the week.
Week 47 (15.12-21.12) - As the second half of the month starts, the bitter cold will spread and deepen. The wind will get worse and become more constant as clouds seem to permanently take residence in the skies over the Weyr. By the end of the week, snow will start to fall lightly before growing into a full blown, severe snow storm that will envelope the entire Island. What bodies of water that weren't already frozen will freeze over, even along the shore line some. Temperatures will not get above freezing the entire week.
Week 48 (22.12-28.12) - Much of what was around last week will continue on through the current week. The snowstorm that came in at the end of the week will be gone by the 23rd, leaving only a ton of snow, wind, and bitter cold in it's wake. The sun may only make an appearance a time or two, as the sky will remain mostly cloudly. By mid-week a second, if not quite as severe, snowstorm will be upon the Weyr. As with the week before, temperatures will not get above freezing the entire week.
Week 49 (1.13-7.13) - The snowstorm that was around at the end of last week will finally stall out by midweek, leaving even colder temperatures in its wake. The bitter cold stays below freezing and ice begins to layer everything unsheltered from the bitter winds. The river will continue to freeze over with only a small access to its waters near its middle. Any waterways between Weyr and Welcoming Island are frozen over completely and the waters around the Welcoming Island are beginning to freeze in around the docks.
Week 50 (8.13-14.13) - Another storm moves in but only blows snow about into heavy drifts with its bitter winds. The winds linger throughout the week, but there is a noticeable change in the temperature, be it only a few degrees higher. Everything remains icebound.
Week 51 (15.13-21.13) - The Weyr's skies open up to sun finally, but the temperatures remain bitterly cold. Winds are strong and from the North, keeping everything frozen and many of the Weyr's residents indoors. Towards the end of the sevenday, clouds start to occasionally move over the island.
Week 52 (22.13-28.13) - As Turn's End approaches the new Weyr, the clouds begin to grow more steady, though the snow from the last month doesn't seem to return quite yet. The winds remain though, and all waterways continue to remain frozen over. The winds are possibly strong enough to blow loose snow around and form deeper snow banks.
Turn 1165, Week 1 (1.1-7.1) - Snow returns to the Weyr, though it's much lighter than the storms from the month before. It's occasional snow fall with clear skies on and off throughout the sevenday. The temperatures and wind still keep the Weyr bitterly cold, however. The sevenday ends with a heavier snow fall, but with the winds dying down.

Turn 1165, Week 2 (8.1-14.1) - A surprise. Not open for play just yet.
Week 35 (15.9-21.9) - Highs for this week at Izuko are averaging between 6-8C (or 42-46F), with lows not much lower. Mostly cloudy, with a day or two of light rain, fog, and drizzle. Slightly windy.
