Personality: Karnial is average when it comes to talking since she likes to be quiet at times and others where people have trouble shutting her up. She would rather observe first then act. She loves to draw dragons which she has become good at though she will not admit it since she thinks she has no talent for it though she secretly would like to learn more about the craft. Physical description: Karnial has dark brown hair that has streaks of lighter colored brown hair in it. It has giant ringlets that fall just below her shoulders. She really doesn’t like her hair and has started to just tie it up to get it out of her face. Her face is lightly tanned that stays that way no matter how much she is in the sun. Her eyes are a light brown, with nicely arched eyebrows above them that really give her eyes personality. Her cheek bones are high with nicely sloped cheeks that go into a small chin. Her body is slim and trim. Her waist is small. She has nice legs that arc beautifully into her body. She has been working on her running and has found that she isn’t so bad at it. She has strong arms though she hates that the veins are starting to stick out on her hands.
History: Karnial was born at Ista Weyr though she never knew her parents though she always secretly hoped they were riders. She grew up with the other weyrbrats though most of them knew their parents. It bugged her a bit since no one had ever stepped forward and claimed her as theirs. She grew up hiding that she didn’t care that she didn’t know her parents.
She was 7 turns old when the dragons started to die from the plague. She could do nothing being so young. In a way she was lucky. She didn't have a flit and she didn't know her parents so she went through the deaths easier than most.
At the age of 9 she greeted the surviving riders trying to help them as much as she could. She stalked the healers from this point trying to get a feel for the craft.
When she turned 11 the attacks started and she also started training as a dragonhealer taking up the mantle of Apprentice Dragonhealer. Like so many others she was devastated by the death of Bennu but she couldn’t let it hold her back. Her hopes rose when Shayna was brought forward in time.
At 14 turns of age the dormant volcano woke. She left with the weyr to Igen, leaving the only home she had ever known. She lost friends to the sharding volcano but she did not have time to mourn since she used her skills of healing to help the survivors. She stood for clutches but she never impressed. She hoped that she would but it didn't bug her since she also loved her learning.
When the weyr moved after the water was poisoned she moved easily almost as if she had not considered Igen her home. By this time she was 17 and a Senior Apprentice. She keeps her hopes up on either becoming a Journeywoman Dragonhealer or impress and become a Dragonrider.
