Randy cry is when she’s reminded of her brother.
Randy loves to sing. She always has and her brother would
sit for hours and listen to her. Now, she only sings when

Physical description: Randy has light strawberry blonde
hair that reaches her lower back. She normally keeps it
pulled back, but every once in a while will leave it down.
Her eyes are a bluish-green that always seem to be dancing.

History: Randy was born to Dalar and Rayna at Crom hold.
She was the youngest of their two children. Randy looked up
to her older brother Danlik. The two were always together.
Danlik was always trying to teach Randy something new.
The girl loved to go help her father and brother in the
mines and actually managed to make an apprentice in her 13th
turn. Although this turned out to be an awful year for the
girl. The miners had been trying to get the Lord Holder to
allow them to get a wher to help in the mines, but he kept
refusing.
Randy was too young to really realize how much help one
would be until her brother was killed in a cave in that
could have been prevented if they had had a wher. After that
Randy learned everything she could about whers. The Lord
Holder finally managed to find a wher egg despite the plague
that had swept through Pern killing off the dragons, flits,
and whers. Some of the miners had come down sick for
various reasons as well, so Randy was likeliest choice to
try to Bond the wher. And to everyone’s joy Randy
impressed the little green Rask.
Over the next few turns her and Rask got better and better
at understanding each other and they loved being in the
mines. Although after some time being around the mines
all time just got to be too much for Randy. Her
parents suggested trying the Weyr for a new setting and
surprisingly the Lord Holder allowed her. So Randy and
Rask headed off to Tristar to see what they could make of
themselves.
Randy met Farley while she was at Tristar and thought they would be together forever. Although when he left after he caught her with another man after a flight her heart broke. He didn't even let her explain. Not long after the quake Randy gave birth to Farley's son Leyran and was forced to raise the little boy on her own. She refused to give him to the creche and is now juggling a hyper 4 turn old with her duties as well.
