Personality: Carlakay is just as independent and stubborn as her older sister, complete with her experiences. She will take a new idea and test it out, so long as there is not a chance of death in the possibilities. Death is where she lacks what her sister revels in. She can fight among the best of them, but if her life is in jeopardy, she tends to freeze up until the threat has passed, then she is right back into the fray like nothing had just happened. While her sister is a great confidant, she is not, always the one looking for someone to talk to and always wanting to learn of tales that have been passed down from generation, to generation. If one were in need of an unwritten history, there is a good chance that Carlakay may know something about it. Her imagination is vivid and realistic at the same time, taking her to places that she has heard of in tales, her mind making her own little world of them and giving her something to flavor up a bedtime story for youngsters that want a wild tale of adventure before they go to bed. Normally cheery and social, not a whole lot will get Carlakay down as she looks at the bright side of every situation in hopes of a better outcome than what everyone wants to think about. Her strengths are in the water and especially if there are shipfish present as she can converse with them, one of the routes of some of her wild tales.
Physical description: While she is much more fair skinned compared to her older sister, she is not without her own strengths. Of the same lean build and somewhat taller, the two could pass as twins on occasion, but they differ widely. With reddish mouse brown hair that falls to the middle of her back, it is usually found in a runnertail, occasionally seen in other styles. Her greenish brown eyes tend to sparkle more often than not but can tell her mood with just a glance. A simple necklace with a deep purple stone cylinder dangles at just below her collar bones so that it does not get in the way of her day to day musing. She wears earthen tones in her clothing, once in a while feeling vibrant with other colors, an occasional dress possible though she’s never really had much use for one having lived on a ship all her life. Her boots are thin-soled and supple leathers, capable of allowing her to jump in the water without worrying about them dragging her down and also to allow her to run quickly wherever needed about the ship. She carries a beltknife on her left hip and another in her left boot, being predominantly left handed.
History: Carlakay was born on a ship christened Waverunner, the middle child of three. Life was simple and tough aboard the ocean vessel, but she enjoyed every moment she could. She loved the water and always felt a longing desire when her feet touched solid ground. She could swim at the same time she learned to walk.
Life remained simple, Carlakay and her siblings learning a variety of skills from their parents and other Raider sailors aboard the ship and others when they docked for various reasons. They weathered a fair few nasty storms, docking just in time due to an uncanny sense of her older sister’s. Her happy place was in the water, conversing with shipfish and learning of long forgotten things that she turned into her own tales of adventure and excitement when sat around a fire or table with nothing much to do.
It was the leading edge of a wintry season of her 18th turn that had the Waverunner docked at Izuko Island’s Welcoming Island and that a brown dragon Searched not only Carlakay, but also her sister; Kimlyn, for the quiet clutch lying ready to hatch any day upon the hidden Sands of the Main Weyr. It was there, not three days later, that the River Raider attended the Hatching of the orphaned clutch and watched as a lovely green locked eyes with her and dubbed her a dragonrider like her other Clan members from before the Plague. And now, life as a Dragonrider under the tutelage of one of those such former River Raiders has started the beginning of another adventure of her own…

Personality: This dragon has a gift for precision (ie. she never misses a beast in a hunt, or over looks a person on the ground in Search – yes, she is a search dragon) and is a very independent type of dragon who does not rely on anyone to accomplish what she feels is necessary. She is one that feels happy when things are going easy and would try to advise her clutchmates against doing anything ‘wrong’ or ‘dangerous’.
Physical description: Gensuth is a very feminine looking green with small, well proportioned features. She is a fine example of a dragon with wings that are suitable to her small size. She is not as small as Lluviath but is a close second behind her.. her hide is a rich green colour that reminds one of spring with a couple of other variations of green swirled into her hide.. a very pretty green indeed.
