Shining aqua Lluvaith circled each of Authanth's eggs nestled upon the Sands, giving each one a loving nudge and a croon as she made certain that they were all fine and not to cool or warm. She had eaten early that morning, enjoying some flight time with Hers before and after and a wonderful bath before she returned to the Sands. Today was the day that the Candidates would get to touch these orphaned eggs and hopefully get good vibes from them. They all needed good lifemates since their mother was no longer in Pern's skies. Crooning softly, she curled up on her little mound of Sand so that she could see the eggs and anything that goes on whilst the Candidates were there. Settling her petite aqua head on her crossed forepaws, she heaved a sigh of contentment as she bespoke her rider at the entrance. They are ready for visitors, Lira-Mine. Authanth's is watching with Duncanth's from the Stands, the tiny green said softly in Hers' mind.
Lira nodded and glanced up at her brother and Taenia high up in the Sands, sort of hiding, but able to see all that would go on before them and also to have a hasty exit should it be needed. Smiling, the Re-Impressed rider stepped out into the canyon's wide floor to await the group of Candidates and make it known of the situation presented to them.
M'cleod sat next to Taenia, an arm around her back in comfort, watching her for any signs that she would want to leave the Sands, knowing that his sister had things under control. He had his uneasiness of Lluvaith mothering these eggs and had even caught his sister crying over memories of her Hylanth's clutches, but Lluvaith was always there when she was ultimately needed.
