(ooc: Can't fi all those required, so i'll add it here.. those going by raft are 'flightless dragons' Weyrlings, and some of the weyrbrats and anyone else you think should be there... oh, a healer too, just incase.
...they will have an escort for 6 dragons over head flying with them, to protect them, these dragons fly on a rota basis)
Finally, the rafts' were ready to set sail. There were ten of them in total, they were basic, but would do for what was required. There were also three medium boats which had been aquired to help ferry people to the holding island of the new home... T'jas just hoped this move would go smoothly, and quickly.. and that the people outside the weyr involved in this were 'safe' it was a one way trip, they'd been told.. and the sailors involved with that had been happy.. with that. T'jas hoped it would be enough..
..High Reaches were well known as a Anti Weyr Hold now, previous encounters had alerted them to that, and was the reason why now, they found themselves on a small beach moving as quickly, and silently as possible to get this going before they would found out.. or attacked.
Patrols flew high above the cloud cover, the dragons watching the ground as best as possible.. but as to whether it would be enough or not, remained to be seen..
..Luck had been on their side this tme around however, Lantram, holder of the closest small holding was a pro weyr holding, and had agreed to pretend that he 'hadn't seen' the dragonriders in his territory for as long as he was able... T'jas wasn't sure how much longer it would last though, and it was that which spured urgency on..
T'jas, V'yel and the other Weyrling Staff has listed indicating what which going in which raft or boat.. and soon enough they were set and ready to go..
...some of the larger dragons pulled the boats out of the beach and into the deeper sea where the tides and wind would take them.. until they reached their island. Estimated to be in about 20 days or so, depending on the waters and weather..
With them, went the first six escort dragons, who would fly straight until the next 6 came to alieve them from the duty..
...all that was left now, was the final move for the rest of the weyr, within the next sevendays, Igen would be 'abandoned'
