Personality: V’dan is a bit of a pessimist, more likely to see the bad in a situation than the good. He’s been forced to be a bit more upbeat now that he’s Impressed Antormth. He’s very loving of his family.
Physical description: He has light brown hair, medium brown eyes, and tan skin. He’s muscular because of his training as a candidate.
History: V’dan (Vordan) was born in Ista Weyr to two riders. Their deaths really hit him hard and he still isn’t quite over it. He was always been afraid that he’d Impress and then the Plague would come back. So he did drudge work, unwilling to commit himself to a craft. For turns he refused to Stand.
Cinava was Searched and arrived at the Weyr when Vordan was 16. They met at the Weyr and immediately fell for each other, at least physically. Cinava ended up pregnant and then they got handfasted.
He finally Stood at the Little Dangers hatching and Impressed and here’s what was written for it:
Vordan stood with the others and watched as the brown in the Yellow Chaos Egg hatched. He saw the skinny brown lying there and just knew he wasn't going to make it. This was the first time he'd Stood and one of the newly hatched dragons was going to die. He shook his head sadly, but then he hadn't exactly expected this hatching to go well anyway. Then the brown got up and came toward the candidates. Vordan was quite surprised and a small smile crept over his lips. Maybe this wouldn't be the fiasco he'd assumed. Within a few more moments the brown stood in front of him and announced that he was Antormth and then asked if he could eat. A range of emotions crossed through Vordan, now V'dan. Everything from elation to immense fear that he'd end up losing Antormth just like his parents had lost their dragons. He forced himself not to worry as he started to pick up his brown's thoughts becoming pessimistic as well. {{Of course you can eat now,}} V'dan said letting himself focus on the happiness of this occasion. He led the brown away and to the feeding area.
He and Cinava escaped the disaster at Tristar with their daughter. He was quite proud of Cinava when she got her Journeyman's knots. As for the attacks by the Holders, V'dan is pretty sure something really horrible is going to happen because of it. He's not even optimistic about the move to Izoku.

Physical description: It looks like someone splattered Antormth all over with a very fine paintbrush, his deep brown hide is highly speckled, practically mottled with a lighter overtone. He's quite thin for a brown but at average size he should have no problems with stamina and speed.
