"K'dae, I didn't mean it! K'dae, stop it! Come on!" Kylita shouted as her brother grabbed her about the waist and carried her out into the evening sunshine in the Bowl.
"Such a lovely bunch of wherryheads! Twiddle-di-dee-dee! Tunnelsnakes and crawlies! Twiddle-di-dee-dee! And a sis that needs some fun!" the Dragonless man sang in the most off-tune one could possibly think of. There had been much too much sadness about this Weyr in his opinion and he had merrily gotten the Lower Caverns in on it earlier in the day.
"K'dae! Stop it!" Kylita countered, though her voice was starting to break in laughter. She never knew what her brother's insanely impossible cheery moods would cause and here was a prime example as Cheer tweeted about in a rainbow of merry flight about the siblings.
"Not until you agree!"
"Okay, okay! I promise! I'll go get a nice dress on and meet ya' at the delta," the Mindhealer said through laughter. It was so very hard to not catch the cheer that her brother constantly gave off.
K'dae finally released his sister with a chuckle and grinned again. "See ya' in a mark!" he told her before dancing off to find another sour face to continue his wonderful plan. "Such a lovely bunch of wherryheads! Twiddle-di-dee-dee! Tunnelsnakes and crawlies! Twiddle-di-dee-dee!"
A mark later, his off-key singing echoed about the delta where he had gotten a fair number of folk together. There were glow baskets hanging between trees to keep the evening bright and a big fire at the center of the sandy area. The former bronzerider was decked out in a light blue tunic with his blonde hair pulled back a bit. This was going to be a wonderful evening, he could just tell. And he had not had a drop of any wine or draft. He had even asked the beautiful Bresala to come along.
Eodira had turned her Healers and helpers loose to attend the impromptu Gather, figuring on going herself at a later time. She was so glad for that Dragonless man who still believed his dragon was alive and well.
Lira stopped by T'ryern's weyr and knocked on his door, patiently waiting for him to answer, donned in a simple dress of green, trimmed in blue, her long hair done up in a flat braid with some green and blue ribbon woven through it. She needed the cheer as much as anyone did. She just hoped that her brother could convince Taenia to come along. Of course Lluvaith would be nearby the delta for her. There was plenty of room there.
Swift stopped by Seleti's weyr and knocked on her door, wanting to enjoy the festivities as well. Even the Candidates would get to see this as that night was one of the first that they were allowed to stay within the Weyr walls and occupy the Candidate Barracks for a bit.
