Personality: Quidel is actually quite easy going. He is very inquisitive though and isn't afraid to ask questions. He was one of those ones when he was younger he was always asking why and driving everyone crazy. Now he has put that into his craft as a Harper. Quidel loves meeting new people and can make you feel like a friend within a few minutes. IT had worked to his advantage when he was learning the Harper trader. It also meant that he was never lacking for friends. Although don't push him too far unless you want to find yourself as the brunt of a ballad that he wrote.
Physical description: Quidel is extremely well built and stands about 6'0" at the moment. By the time he hits his last growth spurt he'll certainly be over 6'0" and more along his father's height. He takes after his father as he has dark auburn hair that he keeps slightly longer as it only turns a bit wavy instead of wild like this father's. He has soft caring smoke gray eyes that can make a person like him quickly and want to confide in him. Quidel is usually seen running around in some shade of blue as he is a journeyman Harper, but when he can he likes to wear greens or earthy colors as well.
History:
Quidel was born to green rider Arelia and brown rider K'mir. Although the boy never actually learned that his father was K'mir. He grew up thinking that Q'dim was as the bronze rider raised him from a baby until the day that the bronze rider lost his dragon. That had been a sad day for Quidel and he found himself having to find something to do with his life. He still loved dragons, but at the moment it was hard to think about them.
When he was 13 he apprenticed to the Harper Hall. The boy loved every minute of it. He was able to ask questions continually and learn all about Pern. He studied hard and walked the tables when he was 16. The boy was content enough at the Harper Hall until he started to hearing rumors about another Weyr. He had thought all the dragons had died off, but there had always been rumors that maybe one or two had survived. And of course being the curious person that he is, he tracked down a couple different sources that claimed there was still a Weyr.
In his 17th Turn he headed out to look for this mysterious Weyr. He soon found himself at Izuko, surprised to see that not only was there a Weyr, but there was actually quite a few dragons as well. The boy was thrilled and managed to get himself into the Weyr as a Harper. Although to his surprise he was also searched not long after he reached Izuko and he now finds himself on a new adventure as a candidate. He still has no idea that his birth father is at Izuko as well though.
