Personality: Taan was very out going as a child. He loved talking to everyone
and got into just about everything he possibly could. His parents had to make
sure they picked up all their tools or else Taan would find them and usually
hide them. Taan remained cheerful all through his teens. His best friend was
his sister Shayna. He always looked out for her even though he was younger
then her. They were always found together and even managed to Impress together.
But after Taan lost Ryiath he lost his will to live. Now, he’s very antisocial
and draws in on himself quite frequently. Every once in a great while he shows
his old self, but he finds it hard to stay cheerful when his bronze is gone.
Physical Description: Taan has the same jet black that his sister Shayna has.
He keeps it shoulder length and actually makes sure to keep it nice even though
he doesn’t always make sure his clothes are nice. He has crystal blue eyes
that can be very haunting at times. They use to always carry a spark of
mischief in them, but now they seem lifeless. Taan is still very thin and well
muscled from his 7 turns as a rider and then taking up the Tanner craft. He
stands about 5’10”, so he isn’t the tallest person around, but that never
bothered him.
History: Taan was born as the middle of 3 children to Tanner Shintar and Weaver
Anya. Taan was constantly getting into trouble growing up and was your typical
boy. He got into anything that he possibly could. Taan became very close with
his older sister from a young age. The 2 were never seen apart from each other.
Taan did his best to stand up for his sister, but it didn’t always work. Well,
actually the protecting went both ways. He started to study under his father
when he was 11 and loved working as a Tanner. This was also the Turn his sister
Hya was born. It was odd having a sibling so young, but he didn't mind. He'd
play with her as much as he could.
When Taan was 13 his aunt showed up from Fort Weyr on search. To Taan’s
amazement both him and Shayna were selected as potential riders. He had always
dreamed of being a rider, but found it hard to believe that it was possible.
Both were thrilled at the chance to Stand. By the end of the Hatching Shayna
had Impressed the little gold Josiath and T’an had Impressed Bronze Ryaith.
The 2 continued to help each other all through weyrlinghood.
T’an enjoyed weyrlinghood and was glad for V’ter’s help. The older bronze rider
was always willing to answer any questions even if they sounded dumb. And T’an
was also thankful that V’ter didn’t mind him hanging around even though it was
obvious that V'ter liked Shayna.
T’an’s 20th Turn was the worst Turn of his life. First a strange brown dragon
showed up at Fort and took Shayna with her. T’an had promised that he would
see her again before she left, but he wasn’t so sure he could keep that promise.
Once Shayna had left he managed to persuade V’ter to tell him where she was
going and he couldn’t believe it. His sister had jumped ahead in time. And
then if that wasn’t bad enough different dragons started to come down sick.
T’an and Ryiath stayed away from the Weyr as much as possible, but it didn’t
help. T’an came down sick first with a flu and then while he was delirious
Ryiath caught the plague and went between. The young man was heartbroken
when he was finally coherent enough to learn what had happened and wanted to
follow his dragon, but V’ter wouldn’t let him.
V’ter remained Taan’s stronghold until V'ter's bronze died adn then he himself
got sick and disappeared. Taan left Fort after that and went in
search of others. His sister Hya had come to Fort to stay with Taan and help him
through, so she went with him as well. He soon stumbled upon Tristar Weyr and
stayed on there. To Taan's immense surprise he met up with Shayna at Tristar.
He had never thought he would see his sister again. But now he doesn't know if
he should be happy or upset because she still has her dragon.
Taan had reluctantly agreed to go to Authanth's Hatching to see if Hya Impressed. Although part way through he couldn't handle it and wanted to leave. Golinna stayed with him on the outskirts of the Hatching Sands. Before he could escape totally a little blue named Erosth made his way over and Impressed to Taan. Taan doesn't know what to do now and the two will have many hardships to face together as he fights with his memories of Ryiath.
T'ryern nearly fell back into a pit of despair after the quake. Erosth had a hard time bringing him back around, but with Lira's help the blue was able to. T'ryern grew closer to Lira and she is his best friend now. He will talk to her about just about anything.

Don't tell this blue he CAN'T do anything for he'll try his hardest to prove you wrong! First and foremost comes his rider though, always conscious of the man's thoughts for His has another's memory. Though he isn't the least bit jealous of that other presence, he will do his best to "knock" His back to the present by whatever means necessary when he gets 'lost' in his thoughts of that bronze. Aside from bringing His back to the present, Erosth is extremely understanding of His

No. Think tall and, well, strongly built. Erosth is a dragon to be reckoned with should one choose to challenge him. A head seeming far more noble than his color, allows this big blue to see above the rest as his well proportioned body is slicked with wisps of lighter blues and an occasional brown-grey dances along his evenly toned midnight hide...
