Personality: Texres is very out going. He loves to be around people. Although
he prefers the company of animals at times. He’s very easy going and cheery.
Texres can usually make anyone laugh. Even when he’s upset he tries not to
show it, so he doesn’t upset anyone. He has many hidden secrets that he has
only told his sister. He’ll talk to anyone, but doesn’t always like to talk
about his family.
Physical description: Texres is 5’8” and weighs 145lbs. He has short
strawberry blonde hair that falls to the nape of his neck and bangs that
cover his eyes. He had crystal blue eyes that always seem to be sparkling.
He’s probably what most would consider your cute kid. He’s still got many
boyish features considering he is only 16, but once he gets older he could
definitely be a real lady’s man. He’s very well muscled from working in the
fields all day and is lanky as well. He’s got the sweetest smile, so that
anyone trusts him.
History: Texres was born to Caltex and Lyresa at Lemos Hold. He was born just
a few short minutes before his sister Calyssa. Their father taught them
everything that they needed to know about the beast craft. By his 10th turn
his father allowed him to help with the animals. This is when Texres really
began to love animals. His father told him that he had a knack with animals.
Texres loved the animals and dreamed of being a dragonrider some day.
For his 11th Turn his parents managed to get him a firelizard egg. The boy
was thrilled and sat by the egg everyday until it hatched. Calyssa sat with
her brother as well and waited with him to see what color the egg hatched.
The girl had received a runner filly, since she wasn't into the animals as
much as her brother, but the runner would allow her to get from place to place.
He was even morethrilled when the little egg hatched a brown. After that day,
Texres and Ryn were inseperatable.
Everything seemed to be going perfectly for Texres and his family until his 12th
turn. That’s when the awful plague swept through Pern. There was no way to avoid
it no matter what precautions were taken. Texras watched helplessly as his brown
flit Ryn came down sick. He spent every night with him, hoping against all odds
that the flit would recover. Texres soon ended up coming down sick himself from
never sleeping and eating very little. His parents forced him to sleep, hoping
that they wouldn’t lose their son as well. The boy refused, but was soon too
sick to argue. Ryn died one night while Texres was delirious with a fever. The
boy didn’t find out about his flit until almost sevenday later. Over the next
month Texres slowly regained his strength, but he would never be the same again.
He became more secretive and would only talk to Calyssa. His parents were
worried, but didn’t know what to do to help him.
Finally, during his 15th turn things started looking up. To everyone’s surprise,
the mighty dragons of Pern hadn’t been eradicated and they had started to
search for new candidates again. Texres was found on one of these searches and
he gladly moved to the Weyr. Now, he’s trying to start over again and hopes
that maybe, just maybe he can Impress a dragon and gain a best friend once
again.
Texres did end up Impressing a large brown named Volcanth. Needless to say,
the dragonet keeps T'res on his toes. Although the boy loves it and has made
many new friends. Things have gotten a bit crazy at the Weyr since T'jas
became Weyrleader the mysterious gold and her rider appeared, but T'res doesn't
mind. At least he has a friend again.
T'res became good friends with Luna and as time went on the boy found himself hanging around her more and more. Surprisingly she was helping him forget certain things and even Volcanth seemed to like her.
After the quake Volcanth and T'res did everything they could to help. It was hard starting again, but at least most of the Weyr residents had survived to start again.

anything that the dragon brings about.
Description: Volcanth is a very large brown dragon, being large than some of
the smallest bronzes; his sheer size however causes Volcanth to have the same
disadvantages as a bronze in flight. He is a brown with a reddish tinge to his
brown hide, a strange colour that is only found on the underside of his wing
sails.
