((ooc: This is only a summary of a JP done offline and further detail will be posted by Katlyn when she gets the chance. Yet, in order for everyone not involved to know about these events, I thought it best to at least summarize it so that happenings after this point can be played effectively. Though it took place in two different areas, it began here in the Bowl and so here is where I think it should be placed for the moment...The title will probably change whenever the full details are posted.))
DAY 17, MONTH 12, A REBELLIOUS RETREAT
After an argument with the new Weyrleader about insubordination, Seleti and her green Cheyenth take off toward the island that Cheyenth had Risen at before Josiath can give the order to Ground the green. The pair spend several days on the island and are about to go home when they are captured by a small band of the Dragonkillers. In the morning candlemarks.
DAY 21, MONTH 12, INFILTRATION
Swift of bronze Seminth takes off before dawn to find his mate, arriving at the island and finding what he wanted, but having to be smart about getting to Seleti. By sundown, Swift is welcomed with welcome arms into the Raider encampment as the band is of his own Clan that he had long since abandoned when he found the dragonriders gathered at Tristar Weyr.
DAY 23, MONTH 12, ORGANZING A SEARCH AND/OR RESCUE PARTY AND HONORING NEW RANKS
Weyrleader M’riel gathers a small group together to go looking for Seleti, unaware of the disappearance of Swift of bronze Seminth the day before. Before getting final words on who was going, M’riel names K’ryn of bronze Zarepheth and M’cleod of brown Duncanth his official Seconds and Weyrwoman Shayna of gold Josiath names Kolteya of gold Tsunath and Ardalae of gold Fraith her official Seconds. The party consists of M’riel of bronze Oreath, M’cleod of brown Duncanth, D’verado of brown Outlath, R’bao or blue Serguth, and MasterGuard Dienon. Armed and heading out that evening, the party heads in the rough direction of the island that M’cleod spoke of where the green Rose out of Weyr a few months prior.
SUNDOWN DAY 23, MONTH 12, FINDING THE ENCAMPMENT
While approaching the smoke trail that they had seen from the skies, the party of five encounter four Raiders and after a swift scuffle, the Raiders are left dead and they now know whom they are up against: Dragonkillers.
Once at the encampment, they beheld Swift and the Raiders in a scuffle, Swift becoming the victor with a gash to his forehead. The Rescue Party initiates their attack to not only get Seleti and her green safe, but to also keep at least Swift alive for some much needed answers.
M’riel is injured by an arrow in his left shoulder from behind.
Swift is injured in the left knee by a blade from his older brother.
Once all is said and done, no Dragonkiller is left alive and the party heads back to their landing site, then settles in for a long trip straight to the Weyr as injuries of some of their group were too great to risk Between.
DARK, DAY 23, MONTH 12, COMING HOME SAFE AND ALMOST SOUND
When the party returns to the Weyr, M’riel takes command again and things gets sorted briefly before those injured go to the Infirmary…
