(ooc- or anyone else, I ran out of room in the title)
As dawn seeped in through the edges of the curtains the separated the ledge from the living quarters, Aquila woke from a fitful sleep. She'd had such strange dreams.. Her dreams were always a bit on the weird side, but lately they'd been especially vivid, and stranger, if possible. Something about an old lady who'd turned into a lizard with gray hair that bit her every time she disagreed with it. Go figure... Plus she'd had trouble getting comfortable, and last nights dinner had given her heartburn. Feeling very cranky, she decided to get up and take a bath, while Duhath and her weyrmates were still snoozing.
Gear alighted on her shoulder as she made her way to the bathing room, but luckily Sprocket hadn't woken. It was so cold she could see her breath in the chilly corridors, but the bathing chamber was still wonderfully warm and full of rising steam. Also blissfully empty. She slid gratefully into the warm water ad let her hair down to wash it before scrubbing herself with soapsand. She was just getting to her favorite part, the relaxing part, when she began to feel rather odd. Lightheaded and somewhat nauseous. Fearing she would faint, she scrambled out of the tub and dried off, but she didn't feel completely better until she was out in the cool air of the hallway. Maybe the heat was too much for the cold weather, or maybe she was just hungry. It was weird either way, but she decided that having breakfast would be the best solution, so she made her way to the dining hall.
By this time, Sprocket had found them, and the green chittered constantly at her silent brown companion as Aquila got herself some klah, porridge and fruit. For some reason, the klah did not smell as good as it normally did, but the porridge and fruit seemed fine. Until it didn't, and Aquika barely made it to the privy. Shards what was wrong with her?
Duhath was awake now too, and beginning to become concerned. Mine, are you ill? What is wrong?
I'll be okay, probably just a stomach bug or something. I'll go to the infirmary. she added, because she could tell the blue would not be satisfied by anything else.
So after drinking some cold juice to wash out her mouth, she made her way to the infirmary and walked in, looking for a free Healer. She only hoped R'en was not already on duty. She didn't think she could handle his fussing right now.
